Perfect Sunday afternoon. Steak on the braai, kale chips from Earthshine and fresh salad. And the prospect of Spring tomorrow, 1st September. A time of fresh jasmine scent, newly turned soil, sea breeze, and warm sun on my back.

The “fritter” thing is pretty handy with Banting food – eggs are always good, and throw in whatever veggies and tasty ingredients you want – fry lightly in olive oil and voila! delicious!
